I am a dreamer, writer, shamanic practitioner and teacher.
I was born into a spiritual family, land and culture where dreams are valued, shared and respected. My dreams warned me, guided me, terrified and taught me since my early childhood. And it was my dreams which introduced me to shamanism.
During my childhood years, the country was experiencing great social turmoil and I witnessed a coup d'etat. I have always wished a peaceful world and my purpose was to be and do whatever I could to make this world a better place for all.
I studied Political Science and Public Administration in Turkey and have an MA in European Union Studies. Following my calling and vision to contribute my share to making the world a better place, I worked in different agencies of the UN like the UNHCR (United Nations High Commission for Refugees) and the ILO (International Labour Organisation), World Bank's rural development project and on many European Union External Aid projects concerning women's rights, human rights, education, environmental protection, children's rights, regional development and others. I am still working in environmental protection projects in different areas of Turkey to raise awareness on the subject.
In the meantime, I started having different dreams introducing me shamanism and dreamwork.
My dreams have led me to Sandra Ingerman. I studied shamanism with her and also Chetna Lawless and Sylvia Edwards for practitioner trainings. I am grateful for their help and support.
I have been led to train to teach shamanism with Sandra Ingerman whom I am deeply and eternally grateful. I am currently in Sandra's two year teacher training.
My particular interest is working with dreams in healing and dreaming a better dream for all because we are dreaming not only during sleep but twenty fours a day. I am inspired and led by the spirits of Anatolia which has deep dreaming traditions going back thousands of years in ancient history from the Hittites to Serapis and Asklepios and beyond.
I live and work in Turkey. I teach classes on core shamanism and dreaming where we explore our nighttime dreams, our dreams of life, shamanic journeys, imagination and the world around us as a dream speaking through signs and coincidences. We also explore ancient dreamways of the Anatolian peoples and bring them into our lives for healing and guidance.
My practice weaves together shamanism, dreamwork, personal transformation and planetary healing. I continue to learn and grow. We dream ourselves, we dream a new dream for the world and the Earth.
My first book on Shamanism titled "Karanlikta Görenler" - Those Who See in the Dark was published in 2016. It is available only in Turkish at this time.
